Tesla has officially confirmed that its upcoming V4 Superchargers will have a charging capacity of 350kW, surpassing the current 250kW limit on V3 Superchargers. This increase in charging power will result in significantly faster charging speeds. The upgraded V4 Superchargers will allow Tesla vehicles to charge at up to 1,400 miles per hour, which means they can add 115 miles of range in just five minutes. This marks a significant improvement in charging efficiency and reduces charging times for Tesla owners. Tesla has ambitious plans beyond 350kW and aims to continue enhancing the charging technology further in the future. The first V4 Supercharger was opened in Harderwijk, Netherlands, featuring 16 stalls and longer charging cables to accommodate non-Tesla vehicles, and US locations are currently in the works.
